  • One touch memory buttons-  Touching a programmed memory button automatically speed dials external and internal calls or selects system features.

  • Ring again on Busy - Ring again on busy set alerts a user when a busy internal set becomes available.  Ring again on busy line pool alerts a user when a line in a line pool becomes available.

  • Ring again on no answer - Alerts a user when the next activity occurs at an internal set that previously failed to answer a call from the user.

  • Speed dials - Allows a user to program and dial up to 24 Speed dial numbers of his or her own choice. An outside line is selected automatically and the number dialed is displayed.

  • Distinctive Ringing - The set can be programmed to ring with one of four distinctive combinations so that the user can distinguish the ringing of the user's set from that of other sets nearby.

  • Call duration timer - The display shows the length of the current or most recent call in minutes and seconds when queried by the user.

  • Call pick up - Any user in a pickup group can answer external or internal calls ringing at another station set without leaving their work station.

  • Time/Date display - The time and date appears on the display when the user is not on a call.

  • Do not disturb - Activating the do not disturb mode suppresses voice calls, ringing, paging announcements, and ring again.  It stops all tones and ringing except held line reminder.

  • Voice Call - Allows you to call another set and begin talking without waiting for the user to answer the set.

  • Deny voice call - All internal calls to that set will be received as ringing calls.

  • Amplifying handset - Amplifying handset allows users who have hearing impairments or who are in a noisy environment to boost volume.

  • Exclusive hold - When the user places an external call on exclusive hold it cannot be picked up on any other set.

  • Call Forward - The user can forward internal and external calls to another set.

  • Call Forward override - When one set is forwarded to another, this feature allows the forward destination to call the forwarding set.  Also call Secretarial Filtering, this feature lets a secretary take calls for a supervisor and call him or her periodically to give messages.

  • Call status display - The line lamp on a station set shows the line status.

  • Call progress tones - Audible indication of telephone numbers dialed.

  • Conference calling - This feature lets the user establish a three party conference by connecting two calls at the users set.

  • Handsfree Mute - While using the speakerphone you may at anytime during the conversation press the handsfree/mute button which suppresses voice transmission to the other party.

  • Hearing aid compatible - The receiver on all Meridian Norstar sets is compatible with hearing aids.

  • Send message list - The user can send a personalized display message requesting another person in the office to call back.  A user can display and scroll through the messages received (maximum of four messages per set) and cancel any, if desired.  When leaving a message, the user is guided by the display.

  • Message waiting list - The set display tells the user when a message has been received.  The set can automatically place an internal call to the party that sent the message or on the M7310 can cancel the message without calling back.

  • Listen on hold - If the user has been placed on hold by the other party, the user can depress the handsfree button and place the handset on hook while waiting for the other party to return.

  • Release - The release key disconnects an active call.

  • Transfer - While on the call press the transfer key and dial the extension number of the person you want.

  • Volume control - The individual user has complete volume control of the handset receiver, handsfree speaker, headset, ringing, incoming background music, and set paging.

  • Language choice on display LCD - The user can select which language they want to appear on the display.  You can choose English, Spanish or French.
